I remember watching a movie about a true story. There were three african lions, larger then normal, and definately angrier then normal. There was an african village next to train tracks that were being built and these three lions kept attacking the village and killing, not only killing the people but devouring half of them and leaving the rest. Of course this behavior isnt normal for lions. These cats were amazing and would keep outsmarting the humans traps and more and more would be found dead. There was only three and eventually they were brought down. In my opinion and the opinion of several others, no matter they were born natural, they are a part of the earth and as any part of the earth can be possessed.
Im always amazed by stories like that and ive been wanting to do a painting forever to go for the story. The movie was called "Ghost of the darkness" rent it. see it. This is not intended to be a REAL lion head shes wearing! It is meant to be a mask. So dont send me any bark humping tree hugger animal activist comments please THis painting is..one of my favorites definately. Please full view to see the colors and brushstrokes, i really like it! Its new lighting, its new culture, its new style, but it still holds my original look in there somewhere so im happy with it. There was one thing missng, and i learned something knew! i went with all warm pallete but it was still abit flat and boring, i barley brushed in abit of dark blue and it set the entire painting off! amazing how a small thing like that can really change it. For sale! Sizes 3X5-11x16 available, Most expensive is only $22.00! To see how to purchase visit [link] just because this painting isnt up doesnt mean its not for sale just means i havent updated yet. |

"We have doomed the Wolf not for what it is, but for what we have deliberately and mistakenly perceived it to be.. the mythologized epitome of a savage, ruthless killer.. which is in reality no more than a reflexed image of ourself."
